The Peruvian group The Song of the Tawny Canadian explores different possibilities of shadow play across two stories: "La Corrida" and "Lullaby for the memory of a time" to engage in dialogue without words, and motivating the public to a connection sensitive between dream and reality.
In "Lullaby for the memory of a time," the rhythm of pedal strokes, accompanied with Gabriel, a melancholy old man, in his last big bike trip. Under the eyes of a cat in love with the moon and an owl observer, we entered a strange world where everything is possible.
In "La Corrida", the audience at a theater just waiting torero income. But it does not decide to enter the arena, fearful of the onslaught of fierce animal. Using the keys to this tradition of English origin, this story of courage and cowardice, reminds us not to be guided by appearances.
