shadow play is an ancient technique that uses similar codes to the cinema, TV or video games. The difference is that values \u200b\u200bimagination and teamwork, allowing you to create a fascinating world with simple resources (light, cardboard, cellophane, etc.)..

Aimed at educators, students in education or psychology, this meeting is a first approach to the expressive possibilities and pedagogical shadow theater. Through group exercises, individual and small creations, this workshop will train educators to work shadow play as an activity in the classroom and discover all the benefits offered by technology in the development of skills in children and adolescents. More Beyond being a mere illustrator of words, the shadow theater has a language that we discover through exploration and individual creations. Having the light as raw material, look through the bodies, objects and puppets projecting shadows on different planes and carriers.

CONTENT

The workshop was subdivided into 4 themes: lights, puppets and body, screen and stage.

Lights: what kind of light use, simple special effects and colors. ·

shadow and body puppets, puppet construction and manipulation of shadows.

Exercises and games for the shadow body expressiveness.

Screens: how to build a small theater of shadows, which material to use in the classroom. Different possibilities simple, inexpensive and creative. ¸

Staging: how to create a shadow theater show with children or adolescents. What kind of privileging text, how to adapt a story, music choice, a division of roles, teaching theater. As lead while developing and stimulate children's creativity.
