The shadow theater group Peruvian-Canadian The Song of Tawny is looking for volunteers for the 2009 season.

The Song of the Tawny Owl is a young independent group specializing in shadow play and is the only Peruvian group dedicated to the dissemination and research of this ancient technique. He co-directed by Marie-Eve Lefebvre (Canadian theatrical pedagogy) and Helijalder Capristano (Peruvian actor and visual artist.) 2009 Season "?
From 8 August to 27 September we will be in season at the Alliance Francaise on Saturday and Sunday at 4pm with our show CONCERT SHOOTING FOR SLEEP SOL. Through three stories of collective creation, we will explore various possibilities of the shadows, we'll be playing with bodies, puppets, screens, lights and an overhead projector. We are looking for people willing to contribute to the spread of this ancient technique is little known here in Peru!
