The delegations of the Colon Theater, Choir, Ballet Stable Escenoténico Corps, Auxiliary Services, Personnel Management and Board, wish to sincerely thank the teacher's presence Plácido Domingo, the Teatro Colon on the 24 yesterday / 3 / 2011.
An hour before his concert in the obelisk and in recognition of the eight workers who have kept the theater open, as expressed by the audience, provided with their usual warmth, a piano concert by the Marcelo Ayub teacher, and led him from the podium the triumphal march from Aida Verdi stable with the choir, then took the stage, standing among the tenors, as one of its members and heard the "v'A pensiero" from Nabucco (Verdi) under the baton of Peter Burian body.
All staff present and the audience excited, burst into applause when he saw his descent from the stands, while Placido knelt and kissed the stage.
In his closing remarks, thanked and stressed the importance of each and every one of the areas of theater, regretting not being able to realize within the same concert as scheduled. Workers we wish the orchestras conflict, have a quick solution, to continue providing our art, as we have always done, so we express our deep appreciation to the great man and great artist who is Placido Domingo, who has captivated us with his personal qualities, since the first time that debuted almost forty years in our beloved Teatro Colon.
